Oral Health Month
Oral health is more than just clean teeth and healthy gums. Your healthy smile is a source of confidence, comfort and joy. It is often the first impression you offer others and is a powerful focal point.
Did you know that your mouth can also offer early warning signs of health issues throughout your body? During your dental examination we look for warning signs; sleep or stress issues (such as grinding), side effects of medications, effects of diabetes, body imbalances and even oral cancer.
Take some time this month to learn more about your oral health, visit the Canadian Dental Association's Health Month section and feel free to ask us about any oral health topic.

Got a Home Alarm? What About The Hotel?
Traveling soon? Make the room "your" room with portable easy-to-use security devices.
1. Wedge Door Alarm - Slips under the hotel room door. Should anyone try and enter while you're sleeping or bathing, an ear piercing alarm is triggered.
2. Portable Hotel Door Lock - Stops unwanted entry even by someone with a key. It will stay in place even when the door knob is turned, or if the lock is picked.
3. Portable Room Alarm - Provides extra security when you're out of the room. This type of alarm has a motion sensor and is armed and disarmed by either by a keypad or a "key fob". Be sure to hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, so it's not triggered by housekeeping.
